New Gen1 owner, what hose is this?

Hello, today when changing the alternator we (me and my friend) broke this line I have in blue.

it's the first line that is removed on top of alternator. looks like a lawn mower fuel filter.

what is its part number and is this an easy fix myself or did we break something that'll cost me 100s and a mechanic?

will this part affect engine performance ?

Which engine do you have?

it was an evap line,
I fixed with slightly bigger tubing to slide over the broken lines and we clipped with clamps. all good, no evap codes
