HID Headlamps in 1 LT

Hello, I just joined the forum as I've recently purchased a 2015 equinox 1LT 4cy FWD.
I have installed HID lights in my traverse and like to do the same thing in the equinox.
Will the LTZ lights fit in the 1 LT equinox?
I've seen some other references that says it does but I wanted to verify.

It's worth a try if your OEMs are shot and you need an inexpensive replacement. Other than that, cheaper aftermarket replacements are usually junk, with a terrible beam pattern for everyone.

The OEM's are shot but these replacements are the best available. I wanna go from the standard headlight to the halogen and wanted to know if they would fit since they say they're made for an LTZ and I only have a 1LT. The black ones are even more expensive but look really cool in my opinion

I have a 14 LTZ and changed to Morimoto HID’s. I bought aftermarket replacement headlight housings after I started getting a weird beam pattern from the left factory headlight. The new housings are just as bad. After flipping the wiring harness and bulbs around the weird pattern moved to the right side, and now the left side also has the weird pattern, just not as dark. It looks like an upside down x-ray of a pair of lungs!

Since no one in the projector upgrade world has ever done an Equinox retrofit, and therefore have ZERO dimensions of the interior of these headlight assemblies, I am going to buy a used donor LTZ headlight and get the dimensions and do it myself!
I’m going to use the Bi-Xenon D2S projectors for both low and high beams.
