Heated seats and steering wheel

Every time I Start up my 2025 Equinox RS my heated seats and Heated steering wheel come on automatically So
I have to shut them off every time. Can I shut them off so I Don't have this problem? I live in the Desert and do not need them on.
How do you shut them off so they will not come on every time you start your car.

On my 2022 there is a setting in the Infotainment Settings menu under Climate for the heated seats to come on Automatically, you can turn it off in there. Yours may be different, but the owner's manual can tell you where to find it. There is a bunch of stuff in there that is configurable.

I was just saying to my wife yesterday that I wished I had an option to turn on my heated steering wheel when I remote start it, good to know they have that now.

seats, select Settings > Vehicle > Climate and Air
Quality > Cooled / Ventilated Seats on Startup
or Heated Seats on Startup > On or Off

Glad they added the feature. Wish I had it in my '24.
