Headlight swap question

Does anyone know if factory hid headlight assemblies could be swapped out with the cheaper halogen headlight assembly? I need to replace both lights and the halogen light housings are hundreds cheaper, but I didn’t know if they would plug in the same..

HID headlights aren't just the housing assemblies. The bulbs, wiring, and relays are all different. And it could cost you hundreds if not thousands of dollars in modifications.
