That's me just showing my age I guess, it's like a postman will always be a postman even if the postman has boobies.

Most of my friends are 20 to 30 years younger then I am and I say things all the time that they give me hell for.
Then again I do it sometimes just to give them hell.:flamingdevil:

I keep telling them that it will not really be that long before they have young people laughing at them.
They are good friends to have and well keeping up with them is a lot of fun.

Good for him and it's good that you ask them and that they are willing to try.

I take it he had to retire, not trying to pry.

I would have a hard time finding enough to do on a day to day bases if I retired today.
Now if I won the lotto and buckets of money so I could go on trips to different parts of the world take pictures of wild life I will probably work till I am just to old to.

No you're fine. Not prying at all....

Yeah I think his offers peaked for buyout/retirement. He was seeing where the offers could start to diminish so he took them up on the offer.

He also got a $25k voucher for the purchase of a new GM vehicle that once taxes were paid it was more like $15k...

My dad worked for Bell Helicopter and did the same thing when he was 59 because they offer him a lot of the other older employees early retirement.
