Gas Guage

I have a 2017 Equinox and need to reset the gas guage as I had to reset my TMPS and now my gas gauge shows empty althooug it is full

I might be wrong but I don't think a gas guage can be reset. And also it is independent of the tpms.

Most likely a bad sender or a loose or broken ground connection. Or, you could have a bad gauge.

Fuel level sensors, both are in the tank. A tech can determine if it is the sensor, wiring, computer or gauge.

I'm having a similar problem with my 2021 equinox. Vehicle was stuck in a small snow drift in an un-level manner. Got vehicle unstuck and gas guage is reading 1/4 tank when it should be full... any updates with your situation would be greatly appreciated
