I ran a Fram Endurance oil filter on my 2021 Equinox 1.5T for this past oil change. 4500 miles on the oil/filter and ~44K miles total on the vehicle. I ran Valvoline Restore & Protect 0w20 FWIW. This is the first Fram oil filter I've used in over 20yrs. I have to say I am very impressed with the Endurance line. It's a heavy, strongly built filter and the media is like nothing I've ever seen. I tried cutting the medial out for demonstration purposes, but made a mess of it because it is so thick and tough. It's like trying to cut carpet from the fuzzy side. Overkill for 4-5K oil changes? Probably so.
