Crayon smell

[Hey Vern!]

For months I have smelled this odor that has driven me nuts. It smells like crayons. I thought is was in the heat/AC ducts. I changed the cabin filter and cleaned the vents and still noticed it. I final found it! I realized that it mainly happens when the sun visor is on the side window. It's the air bag label on the visor. Has anyone else noticed this or do I have an extra sensitive nose? Any Ideas on getting rid of the odor? I know it is illegal to remove the label.

Remove the visor and hand it off to an auto upholstery shop to be recovered. Maybe not what you want to do but guaranteed to work. Good luck.

You could try just covering the label with some clear packaging tape.

its your car. its like a mattress label. Remove it.
