Aftermarket Heated Seat Install ?

Anyone have any tips for installing heated seats in my 2014 Equinox, just purchased and cannot stand the cold seats. Had them in my last car and got spoiled using them. Could not pass up the deal on this car and thought I would be able to add later.
Kind of leery working around the passenger seat sensor and air bags. Any info would be a help. Thanks. ken.

you can go on chevy .com accesories and put in your vin # and will tell u if u can add the heated seat kit, if so u can download instructions and put in yourself but will have to re-zero airbag system. it is expensive at $550 parts only

I can imagine. I'll bet most of the expense has to do with changing out the radio climate control panel. Or does the kit have some sort of auto switch built in?
