Add Wireless charging to 2025 LT

Has any one tried adding wireless charging to 2025 equinox? I found the charger part but do not know if additional parts needed or if programming required.

Has any one tried adding wireless charging to 2025 equinox? I found the charger part but do not know if additional parts needed or if programming required.

It works fine for my daughters iphone, but with that said I don't know what she did to make it work but she told me it "was just some settings in the screen". Kids these days I'm finding out are way ahead of most older adults in the tech savvy area with stuff like this.

Blingen1, my wifes 2025 Equinox LT came from the factory with the phone charger built into the front of the center console. A tray the phone stands verticle in. At first I thought it wasn't working, but if I removed my phone case, it works just fine.

In my Ford, I do not need to remove the phone case and it still charges fine.

Does your not have that built in, or is it built in and just not working?

When I got the car I was not able to get the convenience package II that includes the wireless charging. I pulled out the rubber insert and see there is a place to install the wireless charger part. The part is under $100. Checking if anyone has bought the part and tried installing it.
