My horn doesn't chirp when I hit the recommended psi, either. That would be a nice feature.

I've had mine for a week but I'm on a cruise so I checked with my Chevy App. 34, 33, 33 and 33 psi. I am planning on staying at 35 psi on all 4 tires.
I had mine where yours were but I got tired of the low tire pressure alerts on the dash and the emails

It did it on all 4 tires but as far as I know it could just as easily have been an over pressure alerts. This is new to me for sure.

I have a 90 day-old 2025 Equinox; many frustrations(it shouldn’t be this hard). I’ve had the same frustrations with tire pressure…I’ve taken the middle ground of 37-38 PSI as a cold target. This is a mess…. 44psi is the tire max. 41 seems too close. TODAY, had 3 call to Chevy customer assistance: when looking at the DIC display of tire pressure, am I looking at the top of the vehicle or bottom. in other words…. On the DIC display, is the upper right tire the front left(i.e. looking at vehicle bottom) or the front right (as if looking down from the top). In 3 calls today — I got 3 answers — left, right and I don’t know.

My research — with deflation and inflation — the top right displayed is the LEFT FRONT TIRE. Any other insite???

I don't know what your graphic looks like, but on my '24, it clearly shows the back of the vehicle... making the tire locations obvious.

And yes, I need to add some air. :)

Consider yourself lucky.
My 2025 looks extremely different (supplier change?, GM’s software group?, I’ll try to attach. But…. Tomorrow I’m visiting dealer and service folks(oil change…) and I’m sure it will be a lively conversation.

And regarding the ‘placard’ question on the B-pillar… yes…my 2025 is the same. And I’ve had several interactions with Chevy Customer Assist… one advisor asked where the B-pillar was….thats okay….

Oh wow... yeah, I see what you mean. That's definitely a more confusing graphic. But I think you're right... since it appears that you are looking at the underside of the vehicle in the graphic, and the front of the vehicle appears to be at the top (based on mirror position and what looks like the front end), I would agree that the top right tire is the driver's side front tire.

I hope that you can get past all of the frustrations, and enjoy your Equinox. They're actually pretty nice cars.

That graphic is confusing, appearing to show the car from the bottom.

Common sense would be that the LF would be on the top left. I checked the manual, it doesn't say, very odd. If you have an air pump I would let a few pounds out of the left front and see which position reports the change. Or, pump one up a bit and then check and lower it.

All my cars over the past few decades showed the top left to be the LF tire, I would be shocked if they changed it. Way to go Chevy!

I think around 2017 GM did away with the horn chirp and ability to re-learn tire positions by letting air out and airing them back up starting from the front left and working your way around.

You can do a tire position re-learn from the DIC on newer GMs, but you need a TPMS tool. The ~$10 ones off the amazon machine like this one supposedly work:
