2020 Equinox tail lamp issue with great video.

It really is amazing how complicated things can get over something as simple as a corroded/bad wiring connection. Kind of hard to believe dealer service wouldn't inspect all the visible exterior parts of the taillamp harness first. This is apparently after multiple dealer visits, but this is the world we live in today.

It's kind of a long video, but Eric O's are worth the watch IMO. This guy is amazing.

The thing that is the big takeaway from this, and several other of SMA or PH videos, is that the dealer, for many reasons, isn't the place to go for an in depth diagnostic. Warranty issues, recalls, TSB identified problems or scheduled maintenance are all fine to have the dealer perform but diagnostic work outside of 'known issues' are best resolved by shops with different business models and less restrictions. You may have one in your town and not even know it. Anyone want to buy a wiring harness? Didn't think so.
