I have a 2019 Equinox LS (67000 miles) with the check engine light on. Codes come back mostly P171A,B,C,D which keep pointing towards a Transmission surge solenoid valve circuit. The car drives fine, no chugging or power loss. The codes are suggesting maybe an electrical issue but I'm not seeing any issues with the wiring or connectors. I called a transmission mechanic I know and he said that he's seen/heard about this maybe being related to the auto-stop/start "feature" of the vehicle and that I should take it to the dealer to have them either flash this out of the system or give me recommendations. I called the dealer and that said they can't take the car in until Jan 7th which is ridiculous imo but ok.
