Bought new in 2012. Great vehicle until the paint started peeling about 8 months ago
The rest of the car looks great. Didn't even go to the primer, straight to the metal. I don't believe there was even primer applied to the vehicle. Should I expect this from a 12-13 year old car? I don't think so. This will be my last Chevy.

I guess if that happened to me, and the dealer said it would be my dime to fix it, it would be my last GM product also.

I'm going in for my lifetime oil change and tire rotation soon. I certainly expect no one will notice this monstrosity or even care at the dealership I purchased it from. They will try to up sell me on numerous items first, things like wiper blades and a cabin filter. I received a price from Macco for 2k for just the hood and top before the skylight.
Unfortunately it just keeps peeling away day by day and before you know it the whole car will look like this. Will Chevy actually accept this flaw? Never, there have been numerous lawsuits against Chevy and they keep dodging the bullet saying it's out of warranty. Look it up.
Absolute garbage, make note folks, your vehicle WILL look like this one day. Good luck and god bless.
