I'm disappointed in the deletion of Twilight Blue Metallic..."Atlantis Metallic" is a new blue color, but a lighter shade it seems. It can be seen at this link:

I do like the new 3.6 V6 engine option!

I am glad that we have ours! It's our favorite color! I would like the 3.6L and I bet it will get pretty good fuel mileage.

I do like the newer mirrors and the upper left partition. that allows you to view and eliminate any residing blind spots.

Its going to end up with VERY similar mpg as current, I noticed the rating didnt change, and I would expect the mpg's to be extremely close, but you gain alot of needed low end torque (no gear searching like the I4 and 3.0L do over light hills). The HP is meh at best tbh...what the engine lacked was properly tuned from the factory. They chased a number (260hp) instead of looking at useable powerband. I would've been happy with lower hp with more useable torque at the low end.

The Nox/Terrain's issue is frontal area and drag....That is going to keep mpg's down when doing 70+ cruising.

I'm getting 28mpg out of my current 3.6 VVT, which is the exact engine they will add into the Nox/Terrain. The Impala comes with a final of 2.48 (low rpms at cruise), weights 400+ lbs lighter, has lower coefficient of drag, and a MUCH smaller frontal area. Dont expect much over 23-24mpg at cruise IMHO. When I read about this last month, it started me on my "car search" again, might have something new in the garage in a few days :)

3.0L is completely dead in all car lines far as I know, with alot of components different, I see the pretty good resale value we have on ours, going doing on the 3.0L's because of the change

What vehicle do you have in mind...? Thought about trading mine for something bigger with the value that it still has...

I'm looking at smaller here...Its just me, and I no longer have a double-ski trailer to pull, went down to a single last year (so just under 1k pounds). I've just lately thought the Nox was just too large for me, its a great car, I love the interior design, the exterior is one of the classest in its class...Overall I feel the Nox is a superior CUV to many of the others. But I dont need all the room you get with the Nox, with all the extra cabin space, it comes at a price of MPG's. I'm getting an average of 22-23 out of my Nox with my driving style, which is above the EPA expected avg of 20.

Lol sounds like me... I don't know how my wife does it. Sometimes it averages 25 or 26 and it might do a little better than that if I didn't drive it at all each tank. I drove it to Tennessee not to long ago and averaged 28+ with a average of 63 mph

Driving speed...When get on the interstate, I put cruise @ 75mph. I would like something that nets 30mpg+ with my driving style on the interstate, I actually dont care so much about the around the town mpg (which our Nox's actually do very well). Until the EPA changes the NoX standards in the US, DI engines will never operate even remotely to full potential of what is possible in terms of mpg's. But again part of the problem with the Nox is just raw physics at work against it...drag and frontal surface area (all SUV's suffer this)

Well picked up the new car on Monday night...was a great deal considering!

I went with a 2012 Audi A3 Sportback TDI :)

Found it used on a Lexus Dealer lot-Has 7200 miles.

http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...DI&searchRadius=200&listingId=319315769&Log=0

Some photos until I have some time to take some (if you want to see it).

Went with this setup....Besides fun to drive, is rated to tow!, and gets stellar mpg's. On the way home from Miami (just over 150 miles)...I averaged near 44mpg :)

Engine is a 2.0L CRTDI that puts out 140hp/236fts @ 1750rpms

I would love to see the photos... And would hope that you find the need to hang with us still! If not I would understand.

MPG's are definitely a win with the way fuel prices have been up and down and even higher then the last time they dropped! Sounds like a killer pimp ride! haha

I'm a lurker when online :)....So I will be around for a little while longer, did have something to sale here eventually when I get around to taking some pictures (found another SIDI 3.0 badge hanging with the factory mats in the attic!). Besides I still belive the Nox is the best CUV on the market for what you get vs what you spend. GM has always thrown so many gagets into cars, and makes them standard. I miss my backup camera (that extra insurance) even though I have parking sensors, radio function w/ this audi lacks vs the numerous pages GM has on its radios....that changes next year for Audi, it goes to the new RNS style that VW is using since 2010 (the A3 has been a 2 year carry over until the new body style in 2013...but its Sedan and no hatch so meh). But with all that, this is an economical car that is zippy around town because of its low end torque, and well balanced suspension...0-60 is similar to the Nox, the TDI is power all low end :)

If only I lived in Florida... I think it would be fun to go to the drag strip even though you would probably win...

What all do you want to sell? More than just the badge, right?

LOL go figure i go buy a new Nox and in "13 they are going to put the 3.6L in there. DARN it! Oh well my guess is they are going to Tune the HP down so it doesn't compete with the SRX. That makes me feel a little better. I'm taking a long trip this weekend to Augusta, GA. It will be nice to see how the 3.0 tackles the mountains on the way down from Ohio. The last time i went down i drove my previous Pontiac G6 GTP which has the 3.6L VVT it certainly had no issues in manual mode staying in 5th gear going up and down those mountains.

Its not being detuned :)

All info (and the fact the LLT is going obsolete) put the LFX powerplant in it, which is what the SRX has in starting in 2012, as well as my Impala. I think the Camaro received this powerplant in 2012 as well, its an improved version of the LLT (the previous 3.6 SIDI VVT engine). Expect 301/272! More HP then the larger Lambda's :) being they will still get the LLT "I believe" until full model redesign, the 2013 Traverse w/ updates still maintains the LLT (281hp/266torque) atm.
