Had a P0171D code after transmission was shifting erratic. Changed the fluid, looked pretty good, but only drained about 3 1/2 quarts. Refilled till it came out the observation plug, started the engine and shifted through the gears twice, topped it off. Now slipping a lot in first gear after...
Had the same issue with my 2019 1.5L. Changed recommended sensors, no luck. Changed the coolant fan and it took care of it. My was fine but some people posted the harness plug had some contamination.

Chased the P0299 on my 2019 1.5 and in the end it was the catalytic converter, had 80,000 miles on it at the time. Mine is a salvage title from some front end damage from the previous owner. I pulled the charge cooler cause it’s very vulnerable but mine was ok. $125 part from Amazon and you can...
Thanks, I’m down to the ECM. Local Chevy dealer will hook up and diagnose. He mentioned a software issue may be present and need programming. I guess I’ll bite the bullet and let them help out.
Thanks for getting back to me. No codes and the ac works until the engine gets over 210. Changed the coolant temp sensor and the evap cooling sensor so far.
Coolant fan will run intermittently when engine is first started then stops running at 200 degrees and won’t come back on. I have changed the coolant temperature sensor and the fluid level is good. Doesn’t appear to be relay to test, any thoughts?
