REal nice diagram. Odd things is, my USB port works sometimes and sometimes not, whether or not there is a fuse in F36. I don't get it. Without the fuse in F36, shouldn't be continuity. sigh
The manual says the fuse box below the headlight switch near driver's door contains a fuse, F-36, that might be the solution. Unfortunately, the fuse box in the car and the one in the manual aren't even close. WTF.
Makes no sense; I pulled a 10 amp fuse and the port works. smh Everything...
No it does not. A sad engine. Reminds me of a very good Ford/Lincoln engine that had timing chain issues. About 2013 it came out with a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine that produced 365 horsepower. Ford quietly, a number of years later, strengthened the timing chain system and added a 2nd...
A timing chain for a well-maintained vehicle should last 300K miles. A timing belt is a different matter and probably won't survive 75K miles. I've never needed to change a timing chain on a GM vehicle that I have owned. If you bought it used, hope you got documentation of oil/filter changes...
I must have missed something; can't you disable the auto/stop feature using these methods:
2022 – 2023 Models
Unlike earlier models, the Chevy Equinox 2022 and 2023 have a button to enable or disable the auto-stop/start feature.
Press the button to disable the feature.
Check on the dashboard...
I had a Lincoln dealer, the service manager, one month out of warranty try to tell me I needed a new panoramic sun roof at $800 plus because it leaked. I told him to stick it, and never went there again. Plenty of videos showing how to unclog the drains, sometimes 2 sometimes 4. The Lincoln...
So did you get a fix? If not a gas situation, how many miles do you have on it? Plugs? Also, be sure the air system hooked up, the big black rubber like gasket/hose near the back of the engine.
Don't have sun roof on our 2019 Equinox. However, is it manual where you simply pull it and it's made of a hard card board like substance. If so, probably jammed.
Do know this, Chevy had major problems with ignitions on at least the Cobalt. I had intermittent problem on my 2002 Avalanche. GM's tech really screwed things up. When they fixed the ignition switch, the new part had the same part number as the old one apparently to hide that it was in fact a...
Really, never seen such a study. I like to see one if you can point to a URL without too much trouble.
Higher octane is pure waste provided the lower octane has the same additives, which TOP Tier gases do. I use premium in my Cadillac Escalade but wouldn't waste the money in the Equinox.
At higher elevations, you don't need 87 octane gasoline, which is why you can't find it. Top Tier and 86 is perfect, and sometimes even lower depending upon elevation.
Avoid alcohol-based fuels in most all vehicles as mileage reduced. Unfortunately, mandated in some areas of the country in certain seasons. Other than that, stick to the recommended fuel from your manual. Use only TOP TIER certified gas to provide the best assurance that the gasoline contains...
So happy for you that you got your Nox up and running again. Best not to let any vehicle get low on gas as more likely for condensation to form in the tank. If you get low on gas, your vehicle could struggle with that water. Water forms in all tanks, even the supply and storage tanks and in...
The older the vehicle the more likely it's not the tire itself. I'm curious how you know the tire is wobbling and not some other mechanism? What do you sense? Is it both front wheels? And no wobble going down hills, how odd. Tie rods/antisway bar, perhaps.
Wrong, unless something wrong with your system; the light on the switch should be lit when active and should retain the last setting. Hopefully, you have your manual; I always scan initially and eventually read the whole thing. This is for 2019 Equinox LT 1.5L AWD
BTW. the manual is...
