I went to the 2025 Equinox EV info, and it appears that the remote is setup and controlled thru the infotainment system. As a workaround I purchased a remote from Amazon for $8.99. Not elegant but gets the job done.

The configurator shows $250 for a Garage Door Opener. Doesn't this seem a bit expensive? I purchased a 2024 Camaro and it did not come with a garage door opener. Purchased for 9.99 at Amazon.

I am having the same problem on my 2019 Equinox Premier. Is your Equinox the Premier Model. My car is currently at the dealer for diagnosis. Called the Infotainment Hotline, and they indicated that the Radio might have to be swapped out. Were you ever able to solve this situation. Also...
