There has to be a way to disable it. I would also reach out to your dealers service department to see what they say about turning it off or maybe even a reprogramming flash for it to work better.
What phone do you have? Some phone manufactures make their own GPS mounts that you can use for your device.
That being said, my phone is big enough to stand it upright in the opening below the climate control center. Works perfectly for me.
My wheels are 20's, I'm sure 22's would fir with a lower profile tire.

I probably would have taken those rotors back. Sounds like they weren't surfaced properly.
It may go away as they get broken in with the new pads but they shouldn't be making any noise.

It's crazy, sometimes I notice while sitting at the light that there might be 2-3 other Nox's at the same light. Sometimes you pass that many in any which direction!
I'm sure there will be! I use amsoil products for all my needs and we do free give aways 2-3 times a year to get the product in the hands of those who may not have tries Amsoil, yet.
Does you radio still fail to function? There was a recall for the climate control unit that effected some of the radio functions too. Ours was replaced and I would imagine that would be something to look into!
When something fails electronically, always check fuses, first!
