2023 Equinox - Just replaced high pressure fuel pump

Good morning - new here. Reading that these HPFPs were recalled with the 2021-2022 models. My 2023 RS with 45k miles stalled last week and the HPFP failed. Luckily I was parked in a driveway when it happened.

It was a $750 repair. Hopefully there will be a recall on these as well.

Just posting this if anyone else has had this issue on the 23 models.

The same thing happened to me yesterday. I have thee same Exact car and I wonder how to get another recall issued. If you don’t mind me asking, what start are you located in to get it fixed for so cheap? Because I’m Louisiana, it’s going to be around $1200 to get it fixed

The shop will quote you something higher as the book says they have to remove the intake manifold to replace it. My mechanic got in there and ultimately didn't have to, which saved about an hour in shop time.

My car was just dropped off to the dealer, my car still has warranty (THANK GOD) and I’m at 42k miles as well. I’m just praying my warranty policy covers the power train

I have a 2023 Chev Equinox. Had to replace fuel pump today . 55,000 miles

That sucks! Were you able to replace it yourself? I know dealers love to charge a grand plus for this job on various GM models. I don't think it's too horrible to DIY on the 1.5T, based on poking around on mine, but I've never seen the job done.
