2025 RS Wheels

How do clean the wheels? Tried car wash & then spray wash….they still have a white film color with scratches.
Do I have to clean all of it with a rag….if so it is a real pain.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Nothing beats a hand washing, especially for wheels. Auto parts stores, amazon, walmart, etc all have brushes and various cleaning products to clean the wheels. sorry, i don't know an easy way to do it and get good results.

A lot of times after driving in rain or snow the wheels will still have a dirty film after using a car wash.
Black wheels like you have will show more of the film.
I use a microfiber cloth or very soft car was brush on the wheel.
I wash our cars at home but in the winter I have to use a car wash. Most of the time I use a hand wand so I can direct the spray at the wheels and wheel wells.

I'd be surprised if you have scratches in your wheel finish. You're probably seeing fine lines in the dirty film.

Thanks guys for replying..I just bought a Mothers Powerball 2 & Spray Wax..Will have to wait for the weather to warm up again to try them out.
Car dealer recommended them.

I don't wax the wheels.
I use Mequire's Cleaner Wax on the car body.

Not sure how it would work waxing the machined finish of the RS wheels.
I would avoid a spray wax because you might get some on the brakes.

Speaking of wax, I wax the outside part of the wheel same as I do with the rest of the body. I use a ceramic spray on type, Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax.

I also sometimes use F1 spray wax on the inside of the wheels when I remove them to touch up the paint on my calipers. I know, it's a bit excessive, but the amount of dirt that accumulated on the inside of the wheels is much less and it cleans a lot easier. Sometimes I get carried away .......

I use a baby bottle brush, yank the handle off and weld an extension on it, tape the shaft so it won't scratch and use your cordless drill.
I can even reach the whole inside with no problems.
