We have a 2010 Equinox 3.0l w/6T70 transmission. We are planning to tow a 4x6 Uhaul trailer to the coast, mostly flat terrain, abouit 400 miles each way. Not a whole lot of stuff, just our living/personel effects for 2-3 weeks staying at the coaast.
My understanding from reading through the various posts we should use the "M" transmission setting and keep it in no higher than 5th gear (1:1 ratio) and keep off OD. Is that correct? Anything else to note? This will be the first time to tow with the Equinox after years of using a 1/2 ton truck or suburban for towing.
Thanks in advance
