Wider phone charger tray in a 2018 equinox premier

Has anyone upgraded to a wider phone charger tray in their 2018 equinox? It looks like the '19-'24 one should fit and it holds a wider phone. Thanks!

Last year I had the wireless charger module changed to a Gen 2 module on my 2018 Equinox because the Gen 1 no longer works with some of the older phones.
The new module and harness did not come with a wider tray. If you replace the tray it might be a good idea to update the module.
The module and harness kit part # is 19421449. Cost was $145 from the dealer.

Thanks for the info. My charger works fine. I just got a new phone and it is too wide for the tray. If i remove the tray it will charge. I may just take a chance on the 2019-24 tray.

I was at the shop this morning and looked at the charging pad on a 2024 Equinox.
The pad where the phone sits was 3 9/16" wide.
The console shape looked the same as my 2018, so a 2019 to 2024 pad should fit your Equinox.

When I looked at a 2018 the wireless charger tray would barely fit my wife's iPhone 6, the small one. My 2020 tray fits my Samsung Galaxy S22+ when in its Otterbox Defender case.
