Message: <blockquote data-quote="PoManNox" data-source="post: 23700" data-attributes="member: 8300">I'm not clear on your concern, but this is called grade logic and the transmission will do it on it's own.   I live in a very hilly area and the 6spd in my 2021 does this if I am travelling down hill and picking up speed and tapping the brakes.  Mine will typically go from 6 to 5, then 5 to 4.   I may have even had it go 4-3.  Any go pedal input and it will upshift when it can.</blockquote>
