Zombie apocalypse. You'd have to watch from the beginning. I started watching mid way through last season and no idea what was going on. I rented the first 2 seasons from the library and now I'm a junkie. It's a very intense "what would you do in extreme situations" kind of show. Sundays at 9pm on AMC.
