I have a 2011 equinox. About a year ago we were getting water soaking the interior driver side, just above the window where the plastic side panel and cloth of the ceiling meet. After doing some pulling and prying I discovered that the drain tube that runs from the sunroof drain hole down the perimeter of the driver side and out was disconnected at the top. So water was entering the sunroof after a really hard rain(Florida) and as soon as it goes through the drain hole it's emptying into the ceiling instead of the tube. I was able to squeeze my hand in far enough to get the tube back in it's place but now the problem is back. If I could get better access to the tube where it connects to the hole at the top I'd be able to permanently fix the issue. My question is, how do I safely and correctly remove/loosen the headliner or whichever interior piece that needs to be moved in order to get to the tube. I don't want to start pulling on something and break it. Thanks!!!
