The temp reading seems to be a little quirky. It may just be my imagination but I swear that in the winter it changes to a lower temp even at low speeds around town, but then when the weather warms you do have to get up above 50mph or so for the temp to rise from garage reading.Today, I took the car to the Chevy dealership regarding the temp sensor. I was told by the Service Manager that sometimes, if the car is not driven at a highway speed (55+) the temp sensor needs to be recalibrated. The service manager told me to drive the car at a highway speed for about two minutes and the temp sensor would calibrate itself and display would then begin to show the correct outside temperature. Well, I followed his advice and the problem corrected itself. Guess everytime the temperature reading doesn't change, I'll have to go to the highway for a fix.
