I've had my 2019 Premier TD Equinox for a few months now, and have to say I MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE.
I travel a LOT for work and since September have driven my EQ from central Texas to Camp Shelby, MS for one trip, and just recently to the Baltimore area and back (Pulled into the garage last night) to spend time with our daughter for Christmas.
This thing is so comfortable, has more bells and whistles than the 2010 Caddy Escalade ESV it replaced, and uses so much less fuel than the aforementioned Cadillac, the 2006 2500HD Duramax Crew Cab 4X4, and 2002 Tahoe Z71 that all were used for business travel. The turbo diesel is a wonder. I have yet to reset its 50 mile best MPG, which sits at 49.3 MPG. No joke, it only cost me around $60 or $70 to drive to Maryland from Texas.
I am headed to Boise, ID in a few weeks and can honestly say I am looking forward to the trip, lol.
I look forward to gleaning all I can from the posts and peeps here. I have already ordered the things mine was missing, like the interior cargo cover, the envelope net, and a bolt on cargo rack for the carrier ribs up top. I also didn't quite like the sounds I heard from the front brakes and swapped out front and rear rotors and pads for Detroit Axle cross drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic metallic pads (and did the required painted red calipers, I heard they were good for an extra 5HP).
BTW, now that the wife has ridden in it a few times she finds nothing but fault with her 2016 Ford Escape, lol
