New Member 2019 Equinox

Hey friends. I'm new to this forum. I purchased a 2019 Equinox back in December. My oldest daughter is moving off to college and I need to remove half of the split back seat (the shorter part) to make her dorm refrigerator fit inside the vehicle. I can't find any resources that tell me how to remove that seat from the vehicle. Any help you have would be appreciated.

No direct experience, but I just had a quick look at my 2021. It looks like you pop the plastic covers off the brackets that mount the seat bottom to the floor to gain access to the bolts.

It doesn’t fit if you just fold the seat down?
