Message: <blockquote data-quote="rbiggers" data-source="post: 2113" data-attributes="member: 39"><p>This is a good question and I have read alot about it on the truck forum.  I have come to the conclusion that the Oil Life Monitor that GM built into our vehicles is VERY accurate and there for a reason.  But I still try to change the oil in the Equinox and Silverado around every 5K miles.  We are not hard on our vehicles and could still go alot longer.  I was thinking about this today and thought I'd bring back this old thread on the subject to see what others thought.</p></blockquote><p></p>
