Help! Battery Current Sensor Replacement 08 Equinox

Hi. Im replacing the Battery Current Sensor in my 08 Equinox. Finally got the old one off. Its in a heck of a location. Anyway ran it up the negative cable to take it out. The end of the cable is too big. Im probably really dumb. But, I cannot figure out how to get it off of the cable. Thought maybe the metal piece that goes around the terminal itself comes apart. I cant get it to come apart if it is supposed to. Im stumped. Sorry if this is the dumbest question on the planet. Thanks so much.

Ive gotten a reply. Disconnect the cable from the body. Remove it from that end. genius! Im such a dope. Glad I found out how to do it.
