P3055 power regulator ? cleaned connections stayed off for awhile then came back on could this be the problem cleaned ground connection under the hood is there one under the car.

Did you load test and crank test the battery with a digital tester? Low system voltage can cause odd issues, especially if auto stop/start is left functional on the vehicle.
