Well the Wife and I just got back from the Coast.
She had a Conference M-TU and we went down a
few days early to enjoy the Beach and the Food.
Well we stopped at the Outlet mall in Foley cause
the Traffic was bad (as usual) going into the Gulf
Shores area since it was Saturday to kill a lil time.
Came out and got back on 59 with just 16.8 miles
left to our hotel. 2 hours later when we where 0.8
miles from our destination our Nox Sport scared us.
The Active Stability Control (ASC) light came on &
the Display area said "Reducing Power to Engine"
Great, all I needed to see 7 hrs away from home !!!
Well even though this is up for debate, Dealer says
she is out of warranty so I looked it up in the book
and then turned feature off after reaching our hotel.
On the next key stroke it didn't light up, but engine
light stayed on. After the 3rd key stroke the same.
Upon the 4th key stroke the engine light cleared.
My buddy who teaches Auto Shop in Knoxville said
it sounded like just got a "Soft Code" and probably
one of the wheel sensors overheated from traffic.
(2 hours to go 16 miles + the 100 degree weather)
Well no more issues the rest of the week or on the
way home. However while trying to get home from
the coast I got stuck on the 2 lane section of 45
behind a old man in his Lexus and couldn't get a
way from him for miles. His new tires kept pick'n
up lil rocks and the windshield was hit twice. Just
as I went o pass him, you guessed it, another lil
rock hit the windshield. (3rd times was a charm)
So now our Nox needs another windshield. :banghead:
(2nd one we have had to purchase in just 4 yrs)
