Dome light won’t work

Got a 2005 to fix headgaskets. Battery was dead. 2022 battery year. Charged ok. But no dome lights with driver door opening. Hmm. Seems pass dome light switch was set to off. Duh.
Car was driven 500 mi since sept 2023 per oil change sticker. I thought since it sat so much maybe that’s why battery died?

Noisy strut, I think the top mount is bad. Can hear sounds when turning steering wheel. Yes, strut is pretty crusty. Nut for sway bar link came off. Woohoo.
