Message: <blockquote data-quote="JackT" data-source="post: 20484" data-attributes="member: 7055"><p>It probably was a good move then.  I sold the old one for $40 on Craigslist.  I just now checked the label on the B pillar and was surprised to learn that it was made in Mexico in July of 2019.  That makes the vehicle 4 years and 5 months old, so the battery has to be older, but probably not much since automakers force JIT, and there is no reason for manufacturers to sit on OEM batteries, so it had to have been ~4 1/2.  There was no date code on the sticker on the top of the battery but it had to be the original because it didn't have any stickers or stamps anywhere else on the battery and the sticker on the top is not like any ACDelco sells.</p></blockquote><p></p>
