It is VERY rare to have a head gasket failure, but it is quite common to have a bad upper intake manifold as the ones in the 3.8 NA are plastic :yucky:and a failed LIM gasket. Normally this is resolved by a new upper and a metal gasket.I have heard nightmares about the 3.4 and the head gasket though and heard of issues with the coolant. I was actually advised to drain it an replace it. So, what's the consensus here on this issue?</blockquote>
