Blackberry Bluetooth pairing w/13 Equinox

Just picked up my 2013 1LT Equinox. Was able to pair my Blackberry Curve 9370 with out a problem. Both the vehicle and phone show the corresponding devices. The problem is they will not connect even though they are paired. I called verizon wireless and they said to call Chevy. I called Chevy and they did not know of a problem or a fix. She told me to go to GM Total Connect and make sure the device is compatable which I and it is. I was able to connect my Galaxy S3 without any problem and it works fine. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

That's really weird. I am not a professional tech but if it works with one device without a issue and it claims to be paired with the BB. It would make me think that there was a issue with the BB device.


Makes me wonder if there is some type of OS update available for the BB. When it says that it is paired and you have bluetooth function set to "on" does it show the Bluetooth connection icon on the screen in the Nox?

No light on The Equinox with the BB. The BB indicator blinks blue while trying to connect but goes away quicky. Verified up to date OS on the BB and it is the latest. Going to try Chevy again tommorrow

That is strange. I just picked up a 2012 Equinox and I can get the BT to pair with my BB Z10. The only problem I am having is, it will not import my phone book. Other wise, I can make and receive calls with the BT connected. I have tried to pair it up more than one, but still no sync.

Have you tried to delete the device from your Equinox and from your BB and started over?
