Message: <blockquote data-quote="CPG" data-source="post: 22303" data-attributes="member: 6627"><p>I agree 100%.  While it may be technicalally possible, I don't believe it's a wise idea to do this to your engine.  For sure it would void any warranty that might still be available on it if the dealer were to find out what you've done.  The reason for turbocharging a small displacement engine is to get impressive fuel mileage from being small displacement, while at the same time being able to be more powerful when power is needed via turbocharging.  Doing additional *tuning* on top of that is not a wise idea.  The internal components were not designed for the additional stress.</p></blockquote><p></p>
