Has anyone else been told by tire shops that their Equinox's rear end in not capable of adjusting the Camber?

They tell me with regular rotations shouldn't be an issue but after going 7,000 miles with brand new tires on the rear i now have them on the front end and the road noise drives me crazy.

That's weird. Have you tried asking your dealer? Maybe they have some opinion about it.

It would be appear to be an incorrect statement. I just took my '13 'Nox in for an alignment and from my service record copy you see all the specs, and for the rear it only specs total toe and thrust angle. Cross camber is indicated as -0.1 for the rear but there is no before/after nor a specified range the way it is for all the other measurements. However, for the individual measurements for left rear and right rear there are values and specified ranges for camber and toe.

You have to change the factory bolts out to Moog adjustable cam bolts. That will give you rear camber and toe adjustments better than the factory specs. So technically they are right telling you it is not, but most would take the opportunity to sell you $12 bolts...

Firestone wanted $100 to replace the bolt, but does the whole bolt need replacing or just the nut?

Looking on Rockauto it appears it is just the nut. You can get them from Rockauto from $1.39 CAD to $17.03 CAD. USD would of course be less.
