Wife’s car I never drive but drove it yesterday and could not believe the big roaring sound that increased terribly with speed. I don’t think it’s road noise from tires. It’s bad enough you couldn’t travel in it. It’s at 108k. Is this car known for having bad rear wheel hub assemblies?

I wouldn't say they're known for short lived hub assemblies. I don't know that I've heard of a single 2018+ loosing a wheel bearing yet, but it was bound to happen at some point!

I've had them go bad on Ford and Hyundai products at much lower mileage. You just never know. I had a rear bearing start to make noise on my 2008 Hyundai santa fe on my way to work. On the way home that day, it roared so loudly I put earplugs in. I dropped it off at a shop that night.
