My vehicle is consuming a quart of oil every two weeks and the miles driven is quite low. I see a small amount of oil on the driveway so I have concluded the vehicle must be burning the oil.

I have been using full synthetic oil for the last few years. The timing chain was replaced two years ago and engine rebuilt after the timing chain broke and seized the engine.

Does anyone have some solutions to resolve this problem ?

You should post your question in the second generation Equinox forum, as people there may have an answer.

If you see oil on the ground, you are more than likely losing oil that way as opposed to burning it. I would investigate where the oil is leaking from first.
