Not a defect, but due to neglected maintenance.  GM published bulletins on how to prevent/clean the carbon build up.  You should sue the government for mandating insane CAFE standards, thereby forcing OEMs to introduce technology with inherent side affects.  Your problem could have been prevented.  No case.</p></blockquote><p></p>
