As a matter of fact I had an 86' gray Chevy van that did the same thing, fortunately it was only the paint that chipped away and the primer was exposed for years until it eventually started rusting though the primer. Most of all the Chevy vans at work are the same exact way. I mean it's an obvious problem that Chevy cares nothing about.My hopes is that someone important at Chevy might see this post and reach out so I don't have to drop several thousands to have it repainted. Also driving it around with a sign on that back window that reads "Don't buy a Chevy if you don't want your car to look like this" might raise some eyebrows.</blockquote>
