So after running the company Nox for 3 months, I was told due to good conditions, all company cars over 18months old would get auctioned, and we would order new ones!

Options are

2012 Nox 2.4
2012 Malibu 2.4
2012 Altima 2.5

2012 Impala 3.6 VVT SIDI 300HP!

Needless to say after thinking of Malibu, and just happened to click on the Impala checking the color selections (we usually only get 4-5 colors to select from)...I was stunned to see the 3.6 VVT SIDI engine was offered in the impala for 2012. The impala has always been such a great fleet car, it may look bland, but I have taken 3 of htem over 100K without a visit for any kind of repair...they work nicely! Now it has 300 horses under the hood :)

Lets see how that does for mileage, and hopefully my company doesnt catch that is coming with 300hp until AFTER I get it ordered! Its always been a V6 for us, but the 3.5 (217hp) was always very lack luster....Now this is going smoke my V6 Nox and make me wish I could transplant engines LOL

I know that all GM cars are suppose to have a new look by 2015. I know the Malibu has a new look I wouldn't be surprised if the Impala has a new look too!

The malibu is a redesign for 2013

The impala is earliest of 2014! I think because fleet sales are so good with the impala, when GM had to change the idea of making the Impala a G8 copy due nearly going bankrupt, they have just pushing the impala as long as possible in current form, but did update the engine/tranny :)

Yeah. About that. The news I am getting is that a more G8 like Chevy will be surfacing in 2015.

Now that sounds like a fun car to have, let us know what the mpg is when you get it.

Get it yet? :p

I guess 2 months, I just placed the order when I posted this :)

I've always been a fan of the HFV6's, so I might consider purchasing this car as well, usually they offer us a great deal to purchase them, and the resale value on the Impala is not very stellar due to massive fleet use (75% or more)
