2012 Chevy equinox

I have a 2012 Chevy equinox and the control panel doesn't work and don't light up at all. The radio works and the radio control on steering wheel works but the control buttons don't work and don't light up. The air conditioner is blowing from the defroster only and there's no heat what soever

check the fuse panel there just may be a fuse that controls thar section of the panels.

In some cases it can be fixed by pushing the Onstar button. Communication from the lan is sometimes jacked up.

Thank you I will try pushing the onstar to see if things will work out
