What does one do with an 05 for transmission cooler lines? Both cooler lines are crimped nearly shut. The fluid was black as night, I did a drain and fill, a huge gamble, it lasted a week, trans lost all gears.

What is plan?
Used lines from junkyard?
Used trans?
Ya sure you didn’t lose fluid thru leak?
Did you use t-4a Toyo fluid?

Plan is to get a new rebuilt transmission, but first I need to sort out the cooler line issue, 05 was a bastard child, I trying to find out if I can get some adapters to use 06 lines, they used a quick connect fitting, or patch up these with some steel line and compression fittings. I bought this truck from a friend, he had no clue about the lines, it was running and driving with no leaks, I took the lines off and drained the fluid. Used Aisin T-IV fluid, I assure you the fluid was burnt black to a crisp, can't see how much fluid got through those cooler lines.

Are the fitting threads for the radiator the same on the radiator side? If the 06 lines will work and I can get the quick connect fittings for the radiator I can make that work. Edit: I was looking at pics of the cooler lines, they appear to be the same less the radiator ends.
