My first question would be why? 1st gear on a 2.0 is very low. If your racing stoplight to stoplight, it still doesn't make sense. If your trying to get the tranny up to temp, to check the fluid level, I get it.

I had this issue on my 18 equinox. No screen, Rear camera worked, but was dim. It turned out to be the fuse. The fuse was good, but 1 one of the legs was quite tarnished. I cleaned both legs, reinstalled, and haven't had the issue since. Fuse #42 on my equinox.

If it locks the door and beeps once, a few seconds after you close the door, it is likely a setting in the dic. I have mine set up this way.
