My first question would be why? 1st gear on a 2.0 is very low. If your racing stoplight to stoplight, it still doesn't make sense. If your trying to get the tranny up to temp, to check the fluid level, I get it.
I had this issue on my 18 equinox. No screen, Rear camera worked, but was dim. It turned out to be the fuse. The fuse was good, but 1 one of the legs was quite tarnished. I cleaned both legs, reinstalled, and haven't had the issue since.
Fuse #42 on my equinox.
I got this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CQLVT8Y?m=A3F2UU8IZ3AFBC&ref=psp_pc_a_A2CDSY0SDR1ZE1w for free, with a bi-directional scanner, and it works perfectly. The scanner allows me to enter the relearn function, but I think there is a sequence to enter on the vehicle itself.
Won't start? Or won't remote start with the hood open? You guy's are really digging in the weeds here. $20 on amazon. If it dosen't meet your requirements, send it back. sheesh
The severe service schedule shows service every 45000 miles. I had the dealership do it once (drain and refill 6qts), and it was just north of $100. That seamed like a great deal from the dealership, however I had been to the shop twice, complaining about another issue that I thought was...
It's possible that it needs a flash, but my first step would be to check for codes with a capable scanner. I just had a young girl parked in front of my house, who's equinox had some kind of electronic glitch, that sent her car into limp mode. She couldn't accelerate, the transmission clunked...
sorry, I should have said infotainment screen. You should find settings for controlling door locks, horn feedback, and a setting for "remote left in vehicle" in the "vehicle" tab in settings.
As an example, I have mine set to automatically lock doors, and provide 1 chirp within a couple of...
Mine didn't soak the headliner. It leaked through the fuse panel on the drivers side rear. Fortunately, I have a Husky form fit trunk liner, and the water stayed on the liner. I checked under the spare tire cover, and didn't notice moisture, but I didn't pull the spare to see if water had got...
I had dealership clean my rear drains ($300), they had to drop the back of the headliner. They said they found "Some debris". I don't believe it, it didn't stop my leak. The rear drains empty behind the rear wheel well. I used an air tank regulated to about 60psi to blow up through the line. You...
I used this method on my 18 for a year after replacing my battery. I was concerned about wearing out the shift switch, next. I bought a harness on Amazon. Truely, a $20 plug and play solution.
