It has no rust at all, it is from Arizona/Nevada desert area I think might use 5/8 hose will see. Arkansas don't have rust problems we get snow/ice but summers are really humid so more of a sauna I am used to it. They do salt the roads in winter but nothing to major I keep other ones cleaned...
