previous owner put in bigger battery and cut out the ribs to hold edge of battery. And had no clamp so battery was just bouncing around. Time for new battery box and proper battery size. And he cut out tabs on battery box top so it could not connect to lower box. Pcm tray was just bouncing around.

05 equinox. Ac works fine at fan speed 1and 2. At speed 3 the ac light goes off but fan still runs. I think fan runs at 4 also. I thought a blower resistor issue would cause fan to not run at all speeds? I figure a new blower motor resistor is where to start?

Got another equinox to fix. Head gaskets. Not sure why intake has cooling ports on 1 side. The heads have ports on both ends but not the intake. Assume gm wants coolant to flow in one direction?

Looking for another equinox to fix/sell and found seller with rusty shock mount issue. Their mechanic said it was shock mount. But I’m assuming it is trailing arm mount. I’ve never seen a rusted out shock mount. Ya think it’s just a description issue? Might have to look at it.

I thought my 16mm sockets wouldn’t fit on a 5/8” spark plug. Turns out I was using my 15 mm socket. Whoops.

Took my u-joint apart. There were no needle bearings in right side cup. Shaft was a bit rusty too. The left side has heavy gouges but the bearings were there. Cause of my vibration I reckon. I replaced driveshaft. This one is scrap.
