Forward Automatic Braking (FAB) works well when in cruise control, but only alerts in manual drive mode. I like the feature and wish it was always ON. Wondering if there is a hack to turn it ON/OFF.

I have lane change feature but it only operates steering when cruise control is on. In manual drive the car icon turns orange, but of course you have to notice that since you are watching the road and getting back in the lane. :D

I have run highest octane in all vehicles for 30+ years. We have 94 with no corn here. Lower octane risks ping and retard of timing which loses power. People feel the engine is more powerful, it is not, it just does not lose power.

2019 Premier has a tow/haul switch which disables the auto stop, so says the manual. Tried it today and the engine still stops. So much for the owner manual.

OK, so maybe not all Equinox have this button. It is on my 2019 Premier and the manual says auto stop is disabled when in tow mode. Did a run and turned on Tow/Haul. the engine still shut off until the brake was released.

The tow/haul switch can be used as an on/off switch for the auto stop. The one I have is in front of shifter beside the AWD

I struggled with this issue for a few days while setting up the driver memory seating position. Finally found that the exit position needs to be set separate, the top button, not 1 or 2.
